BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS
Bookings and payments can be made on line through Stayz or directly through Nicole (manager) and are subject to the terms and conditions provided at the time of enquiry.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We expect that all guests will treat the premises, its furnishings and fittings with care and respect. To maintain a high standard of accommodation for all our L’Vista guests we have developed a list of Terms and Conditions and House Rules. We ask that all bookings are accepted on the basis that guests understand and agree to abide by the L’Vista Terms and Conditions and House Rules. Check In and Check Out Times
• Check in time is 3pm.
• Check out time is 10am.

 

No Smoking
• Smoking is prohibited at L’Vista.
• No smoking is allowed inside the house, on the balconies or within the carport.

 

Payment
• We require 50% of the total tariff at the time of booking L’Vista.
• The balance of the tariff is due 7 days prior to arrival for bookings during off peak periods and 28 days prior to arrival for bookings during peak periods.
• Stayz and L’Vista website guests - Payment can be made through Electronic Bank Transfer, Paypal or the Stayz On-line Payment System (Credit Card).
• Airbnb guests - Payment can be made directly through Airbnb

 

Security Deposit/Bond
• L'Vista guests are responsible for any breakages or damage caused to the property, its furniture, fittings during their stay, additional cleaning costs or any consequent loss suffered by the Property Owner.
• Consequently, a security deposit/bond of $500 is required for all bookings at L’Vista.
• The additional charges will be deducted from the security deposit. The extra charges that will apply include:
• Additional cleaning of the kitchen, BBQ or oven - $50 minimum
• Loss of keys call out fee - $50
• Removal of excess rubbish - $50 minimum
• Damages and/or breakages - At Cost

 

Cancellations
• Deposits (50% of the tariff) are not refundable unless the accommodation is re-booked for the same period.
• The balance of the tariff (50%) will be reimbursed if the cancellation is greater than 7 days prior to the booking check in time.


Keys
• Your keys to L’Vista are conveniently located in a key security box at the property – 3b Skyline Crt, Lorne. Your password to the security box will be emailed the day before your arrival, provided full payment has been received.
• The keys are to be returned to the same security box at 10am on your day of departure.
• Guests are responsible for the safekeeping of all L’Vista keys during your stay.
• A call out fee of $50 will be payable if the keys are misplaced.

 

Number of Occupants Allowed
• L’Vista accommodates up to 8 people.
• Group bookings are not to exceed 8 guests.
• Caravans and tents are prohibited on the property.

 

What is provided?
• L’Vista is a fully self-contained house, with linen and towels provided with the exception of beach towels and face washers.
• A small quantity of hand soap, dishwashing powder, detergents, washing machine powder and toilet paper are provided. However if your stay extends beyond a few days, we suggest you bring additional supplies of these items.
• Guests are required to bring all personal items.

 

Open Fire
• L’Vista has an open fireplace for use by guests.
• A small quantity of firewood is provided for use by guests, however, if your stay extends beyond a few days, you may need to supply additional firewood.

 

Cleaning
• All guests are expected to treat the property and its contents with the care and respect.
• Guests are required to clean the grill on the weber BBQ and empty the fireplace after use as per the House Rules.
• Council collection bins are to be placed on the street kerb on Sunday nights for collection on Monday morning and when guests vacate the premises. To ensure the cockatoos do not remove rubbish from the bins please ensure the bins are not overflowing and the lids are securely closed.
• All furniture and kitchen items are to be returned to the same location they were upon arrival, when guests vacate the premises.
• An additional cleaning fee will be taken from the bond if extra cleaning is required, including cleaning the grill of the weber BBQ.

 

Noise/Nuisance
• L’Vista is located in a quiet court. All guests are expected to consider the amenity of other residents in the court and surrounds.

 

Pets
• L’Vista does not allow any pets on the property or inside the house.

 

Damage
• All guests are fully responsible for any breakages or damage caused to the property, its furniture, fittings or any consequent loss suffered by the Property Owner
• If there is any damage or breakage caused to the property during your stay, accidental or not, please report the damage immediately to Nicole on 0420 801 504
• Any breakage or damage will be required to be paid for from your bond.

 

Schoolies
• L’Vista does not accept any school or university leaver groups. Any requests for such groups during the Schoolies period (Mid November – early December) will be rejected.
• If it is found that a “schoolies” group is occupying the premises, termination of the booking will apply and all guests will be required to vacate L’Vista immediately without a refund.

 

Disclaimer
• Any guests booking L’Vista Lorne agree to these Terms and Conditions and in doing so hereby acknowledge and agree that the Property Owner will not be held responsible nor liable for:

    • any injury or loss suffered by the occupants, their invitees or guests whatsoever or howsoever caused whilst I/we are in occupancy of     the holiday accommodation due to my/our failure to comply with the Terms and Conditions or House Rules;
    • any injury or loss suffered by the occupants, their invitees or guests whatsoever or howsoever caused due to negligence on     my/our/their part;
    • any injury or loss suffered by the occupants, their invitees or guests whatsoever or howsoever caused as a result of insects or wildlife     in or around the property. All occupants are to take specific care at all times within this rural area and requested not to approach any     such wildlife under any circumstances.
    • any injury or loss suffered by the occupants, their invitees or guests suffered as a result of bushfire. All occupants are to make     themselves aware of CFA fire warnings and Fire Danger Ratings. All occupants are to follow state policy on fire restrictions;
    • any noise, disturbance or inconvenience caused as a result of renovation/building/road works being carried out in or near the vicinity     of the holiday accommodation.
    • the standard of furnishings and fittings.

Termination of Booking
• The owner reserves the right to cancel/terminate a booking at any time if these Terms and Conditions are not abided by.
 

HOUSE RULES
• No Smoking
• No Pets
• No Schoolies
• No Parties
• No more than eight (8) guests
• Place Council bins on street kerb each Sunday night for collection Monday morning
• All damage/breakage is to be reported immediately to Nicole on 0420 801 504
• Refer to the in-house L’Vista manual for appliance operating instructions
• When vacating the premises please ensure:
    1. All appliances and lights are turned off
    2. All personal items are packed including clothes, toiletries and food
    3. Doors are locked
    4. Kitchen and bathroom rubbish has been placed in the Council bins
    5. Council bins are not overflowing and are on the kerb ready for collection
    6. Dishes and all kitchen items have been washed, dried and put away
    7. Wet towels are left in the bathroom
    8. The BBQ grill is clean
    9. The oven and microwave oven are clean
   10. The fireplace is clean and cold ashes have been removed and placed in a bag in the bin    
   11. All furniture and kitchen items are returned to the same location they were upon arrival
   12. Keys are to be returned to the Security Box and the property vacated by 10 am
